After teaming up for the first time at WWE Survivor Series 2025 in the Men’s WarGames match, Roman Reigns and CM Punk are reuniting again — this time not in a steel cage, but as “zebra cops” in Disney’s Zootopia 2.
The casting of Roman Reigns and CM Punk wasn’t first revealed by industry insiders, but by the children of their own agent, Nick LoPiccolo. After days of teasing an announcement, LoPiccolo got scooped when veteran NFL reporter John McMullen posted a photo on X showing LoPiccolo’s kids standing in front of a Zootopia 2 display and mimicking the signature poses of Reigns and Punk.
So it’s almost official, Reigns and Punk will voice the film’s “zebra cops,” joining Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The movie premieres this Thursday at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles before its November 26 nationwide release.
The sequel follows Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Now Reigns and Punk enter that world as zebra officers who bring a buddy-cop comedic edge to the film — a fun pairing for two men who have spent much of their WWE careers as rivals or uneasy allies.
Opposite career tracks for CM Punk and Roman Reigns

For Roman Reigns, this casting fits what we’ve seen throughout 2025. His WWE on-screen presence has decreased as he’s invested more into outside projects. The biggest of these is the Street Fighter film where he’s playing Akuma and has completed a multi-week shoot.
He also appeared in Amazon Prime Video’s The Pickup earlier this year and is adding to a growing resume that shows a gradual shift towards Hollywood. WWE seems to be preparing for a post-Reigns era.
Meanwhile, CM Punk is on the other end of the WWE spectrum right now. He’s in the busiest in-ring stretch of his career. On November 1, he won the vacant World Heavyweight Championship and is adamant about defending it.
He’s back on Raw as the face of the company and his title defenses will be the main event of the big shows going into winter.
