While it appears there will not be an official WWE Draft in the latter half of 2025, roster shifts between the main roster and NXT could still be on the horizon. The developmental brand has often served as a place for veteran superstars to redefine themselves or as a proving ground for main roster talent looking for a new challenge.
From recently called-up stars to established veterans, several intriguing options could make a return to the black and gold brand before 2025 comes to a close. Here are seven WWE stars who could be back on NXT TV soon.
American Made

Some or all of the members of the American Made faction—Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, and Ivy Nile—could be poised for a return to NXT. The group is currently in limbo on the main roster; their leader, Chad Gable, is out of action with an injury, and El Grande Americano has splintered from the group to form his own faction, Los Americanos, alongside Ludwig Kaiser, Pete Dunne, and Tyler Bate.
While American Made is seemingly poised to feud with Los Americanos upon Gable’s return, the Creed Brothers could pick up matches on NXT in the meantime. A return would also allow them to have a dream match against the current NXT Tag Team Champions, Matt and Jeff Hardy, and help rebuild the brand’s tag team division.
Carmelo Hayes

Carmelo Hayes recently appeared at NXT Homecoming, where he reunited with his former partner, Trick Williams. Following that appearance, his main roster tag team with The Miz on SmackDown, known as “Melo Don’t Miz,” has apparently imploded in the wake of a feud between the two.
With that partnership seemingly over, the door could be open for Hayes to return to NXT for another run with Williams. The “Trick Melo Gang” was a fan-favorite duo in NXT, and a reunion would allow them to reframe their characters at the Performance Center before making a more impactful return to the main roster as a unified team.
Alba Fyre

Though acclaimed for her recent tag team work, Alba Fyre had a landmark 649-day reign as NXT UK Women’s Champion under her previous name, Kay Lee Ray. She has already made a partial return to NXT, aligning with Chelsea Green and Ethan Page, but a full-time run could be beneficial.
A capable veteran, Fyre could move beyond her current supporting role and re-establish herself as a dominant singles competitor. Her presence could also be utilized in the TNA Knockouts division as part of the ongoing WWE-TNA crossover, giving her multiple avenues to showcase her talent.
The Wyatt Sicks

The Wyatt Sicks have been a force on the main roster since their debut, with members Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis even capturing the WWE Tag Team Championships. However, the group has never made an appearance on the NXT brand. The faction serves as a tribute to the legacy and creative mind of Bray Wyatt.
Given that the original Wyatt Family was formed in the early days of NXT, it would be a powerful narrative moment to see the Wyatt Sicks make appearances on the brand where it all began, connecting their current iteration to the group’s deep roots.
Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro

Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro first formed their tag team in WWE as part of the Legado Del Fantasma faction in NXT, where they were consistently featured. Since moving to the main roster and becoming part of the LWO, the duo has had very few opportunities to showcase their high-flying skills on a major stage.
On the rare occasions they compete in NXT or for partner promotions like AAA, they remind audiences of their talent. A full-time move back to NXT would provide them with a better platform to be featured regularly and would also allow them to serve as seasoned veterans, helping to guide the younger talent on the brand.
