The wait for “The Megastar” may finally be over. After being sidelined by an assault from The Vision in December, a new report suggests that LA Knight is set to make his return at the Royal Rumble this Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful Select, LA Knight was officially scheduled for travel to the Kingdom as of earlier this month. Even more telling is the detail that physical decorations and promotional materials have been spotted on-site in Riyadh, strongly implying that LA Knight will be a featured part of the weekend’s festivities.
LA Knight has been absent from WWE programming since the December 8 episode of Raw, where he was decimated by Bronson Reed and the rest of The Vision. The group planted him with a Tsunami onto an SUV, a move designed to write him off television for several weeks.
While there were “rumblings” reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that LA Knight might appear at the January 12 Raw in Germany, he ultimately did not show, making the Royal Rumble the most likely stage for his return.
Looking at the betting odds for the Men’s Royal Rumble, LA Knight remains one of the top favorites to win the 30-man match, alongside Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. Fans are looking forward to his return and to getting his revenge on Logan Paul and his faction. Some fans are hoping that 2026 will be the year that Knight can make it into the main event scene again and challenge for a World Title, potentially even holding one.
As the WWE crew prepares for SmackDown tomorrow night in Riyadh, the hype for this year’s event continues to build. LA Knight has not made any appearances for interviews or spoken out on social media while away from WWE TV.
