Kevin Nash has weighed in on the ongoing conversation around TKO’s involvement in WWE creative, delivering one of the most blunt hot takes you will ever hear on the latest episode of the Kliq THIS Podcast. Nash’s argument is straightforward: Triple H knows what he is doing, and the executives above him do not need to be involved.
“(Paul) Levesque takes over, and everybody loves the direction that this Levesque guy is carrying the new flagship WWE program into the Netflix era,” Nash said. “And then lo and behold, like every other business on earth, the f***ing guys above him that don’t have a f***ing clue besides get paid more, higher up on the food chain decide to start sticking their d**** where they don’t need to. ‘
“We’re going to throw this guy in. Let’s put this guy in. How about him in the main event? What if we throw this guy in? Why would we throw that guy in?’ We got a $500 million deal that this guy is locked into. While we’re at it, let’s make the arena look like a NASCAR.”

Nash made clear his criticism is directed at those above Triple H in the TKO structure. Not Levesque himself.
“It doesn’t take anything away from Paul Levesque, because Paul Levesque still knows what the f–k he’s doing. If anybody out there seems to be, maybe thinks this might apply to them, how about leaving the f–king company alone? Get your f–king noses out of creative.”
Triple H assumed creative control of WWE in 2022 and received widespread praise for the product’s initial direction under his leadership. Last month, however, TKO President and COO Mark Shapiro publicly claimed that TKO has full control over WWE creative. WWE’s recent storylines have drawn mixed reactions, with fans pointing to outside interference from TKO in the booking process as a contributing factor.
