A new report suggests that Trick Williams and Oba Femi will be joined by another former NXT Champion expected to get a notable push on the WWE main roster in the weeks and months ahead.
If you haven’t noticed, WWE is going with a notable youth movement, specifically from NXT, over the last few months. On the road to WrestleMania 42, Williams, Femi, Je’Von Evans, and Jordynn Grace, top stars from NXT, were all brought up to the main roster.
After the April mega event, RAW and SmackDown have gotten another influx of NXT talent in former titlists Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, the faction Fatal Influence, and Sol Ruca. However, not only has management brought up a bunch of talented performers from NXT, but several of them have been pushed heavily in that time.
Due to the strong reactions they received, Femi and Williams have emerged as notable stars on the red and blue brands. Well, it seems one of their black-and-gold brand colleagues has also impressed decision-makers, looks in line for a notable push, and it could start tonight at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Ethan Page being set up for a big push soon?
According to Wrestle Votes, Page has been “well-received” backstage since joining the company in 2024. A source claimed he is “extremely respectful and detail-oriented behind the scenes.” It is believed that preparation has shown throughout his work in NXT, AAA, and now on the main roster.
“Those spoken to believe Page has positioned himself very well moving forward, especially considering how quickly he’s risen in a relatively short amount of time,” Wrestle Votes reports.
Page is expected to headline tonight’s edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event in an Intercontinental title match against champion Penta. A win tonight could show the “All Ego” push has begun.
