A big rumor has emerged about the upcoming return of injured WWE veteran Chad Gable.
This was turning into a good year for multi-time tag team champion Chad Gable. He was a featured part of Monday Night Raw throughout the winter and spring, especially when he created the alter ego of El Grande Americano. The new character even landed him major matchups in WWE-owned promotion AAA.
However, just when the new character was really developing some serious momentum after getting a match at WrestleMania 41, he suffered a rotator cuff injury that immediately required surgery and was expected to sideline him for a very long time. Well, it seems like the fan-favorite is gearing up for a return soon.
According to Mike Johnson of PW Insider, Gable will be down in Florida at the Performance Center this week to start getting back in ring shape for a return to action in the near future.
Will Chad Gable return to being El Grande Americano?

One of the interesting things for the company when Gable is ready to return is how they reintroduce him on television. He was doing great work under the alter ego of El Grande Americano. However, after being written off a WWE television Luwig Kaiser has taken on the role.
During his time as El Grande Americano, Kaiser has taken it to new heights and become a star for AAA, and is on the verge of getting bigger storylines on WWE TV as well. Chances are, Gable won’t go back to being that character. However, it would certainly be great television if there were a storyline about him trying to retake the mantle he always denied having anything to do with.
