Former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman has fueled fresh speculation about his love life after appearing alongside the woman formerly known as Elektra Lopez in a series of photos and videos shared on her Instagram account.
Lopez—also known as Karissa Rivera—posted a carousel from the EDC Orlando 2025 festival with the caption: “EDC ’25 was one for the books. Grateful for the memories, the madness, and the ones who made it unforgettable.”
Among the pictures were a few clips of the pair together, including one memorable video where Strowman can be seen carrying Lopez on his shoulders during the event at the festival, and a selfie of the two of them looking close.
As a result, some of his fans are speculating that the pair may be more than just friends, though neither has said anything in public about their relationship status.
The romance rumors come at an interesting time for both of these former WWE talents.
Strowman’s real name is Adam Scherr, and he was released by the WWE back in May of 2025 as part of a roster cut. Reports were that his high salary and limited on-screen time were the reasons why the WWE gave him the boot.
Since leaving the WWE, Strowman has started getting more into entertainment activities, like his food and travel show ‘Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman,’ which premiered in October 2025 on USA Network and on Peacock.
On the other hand, Lopez, who was also released last February, was no longer with the WWE after four years with the company. She first made a name for herself on NXT as part of Legado Del Fantasma before making her way over to SmackDown.
Since leaving the WWE, Lopez has gone back to the independent scene as Karissa Rivera, and she’s been talking about looking for work outside the world of wrestling. In an interview back in May, she said she felt that WWE wasn’t giving her the chance to prove herself in the ring like she could have.
In the pictures from EDC Orlando, all 6’8″ of Strowman looks like he’s having the time of his life with Lopez. These images quickly caught the attention of the wrestling community, and the timing was particularly curious given that both of them are freshly released from the WWE.
