Jade Cargill may have come up short against Rhea Ripley at Clash in Italy, but WWE reportedly has significant plans mapped out for her over the next two Premium Live Events.
According to TRNBCKL Gold, which claims inside knowledge of the current direction, Cargill is likely to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s United States Championship at Night of Champions on June 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with tonight’s SmackDown expected to advance that direction if the plan is in place.
The bigger picture, per the same sources, is a Jade Cargill vs. Charlotte Flair match at SummerSlam on August 1 and 2 in Minneapolis. Flair’s interference during Cargill’s Clash in Italy title match against Ripley is said to be part of a deliberate long-term build toward that ultimate collision rather than a one-off moment.

If Cargill wins the title at Night of Champions and goes into SummerSlam as champion, it raises the possibility of her pursuing the Women’s Grand Slam — a designation that has taken on real meaning now that the women’s title picture has expanded to include multiple championships. Flair herself holds 16 WWE Women’s World Championships along with the Women’s Tag Team and NXT titles, meaning the Grand Slam would represent a genuine milestone for whichever woman achieves it and a compelling competitive motivator for the angle.
Cargill held the WWE Women’s Championship before losing it to Ripley at WrestleMania 42 in April. A Women’s United States Championship win at Night of Champions would put her back in title contention quickly and set up what TRNBCKL Gold’s sources describe as a legitimate SummerSlam main event level program with Flair.
