A new report suggests that after performing at Sunday’s Super Bowl, Bad Bunny’s next major appearance could be at WrestleMania 42.

Over the last few years, the Puerto Rican has grown into one of the most famous music artists on the planet. He is consistently one of the industry’s most downloaded stars, but his brand has been elevated even further after winning the Grammy for Album of the Year last week, and his upcoming performance during Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show.

However, before he became a massive star globally, he developed an interesting relationship with WWE. Bad Bunny has made multiple appearances in the wrestling company and has actually competed in several matches. Including at WrestleMania five years ago, and a main event bout in Puerto Rico in 2023.

Bad Bunny expected to make WWE return ‘very soon’

There has been on-and-off speculation over the last two years about when the long-time pro wrestling fan might return to a WWE ring. Well, that might be imminent. According to Wrestling Observer, Bad Bunny is expected to return to WWE “very soon, sooner rather than later.”

That seems to line up perfectly with a potential match at WrestleMania 42 in April. With the company always looking to make each year’s ‘Mania the biggest ever, adding the music superstar to the card would certainly elevate the 2026 edition even more. Especially after all the controversy that has come from his selection as the Super Bowl halftime act.

It is also possible he may not compete in a match at WrestleMania but just make an appearance. That appearance could then potentially set up his next bout at a rumored May event in Puerto Rico.
