A major update has emerged on whether Bad Bunny could make his return to WWE for WrestleMania 42.
Over the last few years, the Puerto Rican has become one of the most famous music artists on the planet. He is consistently one of the industry’s most downloaded stars, won the Grammy for Album of the Year earlier this month, and blew the nation away with a memorable performance at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
However, before he became a huge global star, he developed an interesting relationship with WWE. Bad Bunny has made multiple appearances in the wrestling company and competed in several matches. Including being in a main event match at the 2023 edition of Backlash in Puerto Rico.
Since his last appearance, fans have wondered when he will make a comeback. Especially since he became a huge topic of discussion leading up to the Super Bowl. Recent reports have suggested that stepping back in a WWE ring is possible in 2026, and it seems the company hopes it can be fairly soon.
WWE has been in contact with Bad Bunny’s reps for weeks

According to a new report from Wrestle Votes Radio, WWE has recently been gauging Bad Bunny’s interest and availability for WrestleMania. Furthermore, members of the wrestling company were in contact with the rapper/singer’s reps well before his performance at the Super Bowl.
WWE is always looking to make the next WrestleMania the biggest of all time. Plus, with ticket sales for April’s event being a bit sluggish, bringing in one of the most famous people on the planet for a match or appearance makes a lot of sense. Especially since Bad Bunny is passionate about the company’s product.
