USC guard Jazzy Davidson paid homage to WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu in the Trojans’ 71-66 defeat to the Ducks on Tuesday.
Davidson debuted a player-exclusive edition of the Sabrina 3s in the game, which had the New York Liberty player in attendance.
The USC star’s Sabrina 3 PE sneakers bore the same design language as the original Sabrina 3s. The eye-catching details about the PEs were the broad red accents on the entire body and a Jazzy engraving in the outsole of the sneaker.
Davidson played 39 minutes on the court and put up 14 points on the score sheet. She also posted 13 rebounds and dished out five assists, proving herself as an efficient two-way player.
Jazzy Davidson is the Trojans’ rising star this season while JuJu Watkins rehabs from a torn ACL she suffered in March 2025. She is currently averaging 16.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game on 38.8% shooting from the floor.
The college player’s latest gesture seeks to honor Sabrina Ionescu, who is one of the successful stars in women’s basketball in the sneaker world.
The Liberty star has a well-received signature sneaker line among fans and athletes alike. Steph Curry even wore Ionescu’s Sabrina 2 “Ice Mint” sneakers in a 120-107 win over the Nets on Dec. 29 last year.
Sabrina Ionescu commented on Jazzy Davidson’s PE sneakers
Following Davidson’s homage to the WNBA star on Tuesday night, Sabrina Ionescu shouted out the USC player’s PE edition of her signature sneakers on Instagram after the game.
She shared a short video on her story which featured a clip of her from the game’s broadcast.
In the clip, the commentators welcome Ionescu to the game. The Liberty star then waved to the fans and made a heart symbol with her hands, while the second half of the broadcast screen focused on Davidson’s sneakers.
In another Instagram story, Ionescu shared a post announcing the bright red Sabrina 3 PEs named “Clackamas Sisterhood.”
Jazzy Davidson has another player-exclusive Sabrina 3s that are inspired by USC colors and were released in December 2025.
The outsole of the sneaker also features Davidson’s jersey number “9” in a red engraving, making it exclusive to the Trojans guard.
