Sophie Cunningham knows exactly how to pull up and show out—and yeah, she’s doing it on and off the hardwood. The Indiana Fever guard is still getting buckets this offseason, just in a whole different arena.

Making her rookie debut with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, Cunningham proved she’s got range way beyond the three-point line. She officially announced last week that she’s part of this year’s SI Swim lineup, dropping a joint post with the mag that had fans double-tapping in no time.

But just when you thought she was done cooking? Things got Fever-hot. Cunningham turned the heat all the way up after re-signing with Indiana, reminding everyone she’s locked in with the squad and leveling up her offseason game.

Sophie Cunningham just re-upped with the Indiana Fever—and let’s just say she celebrated like she dropped a game-winner at the buzzer.

For her rookie run with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, Cunningham didn’t just step into the spotlight—she owned it. SI Swim turned the heat all the way up, dropping a BTS clip of “Spicy Sophie” fully locked in, doing whatever it takes to nail the shot. Their caption was pure woman crush energy: “Is it getting hot in here or did [Sophie Cunningham] just re-sign with the [Indiana Fever] 🌶️🔥,”

And Sophie? She was in her bag the whole time.
“I’m having so much fun,” she says while cycling through looks mid-shoot. “Seriously, it’s like the best day of my life. I’m on swimsuit No. 3; I’m about to change into No. 4. Warmth is a mindset. We’re fine. The water’s a little chilly, but I’m seriously having the best day. So, come on — last album.”

That same mindset is exactly what put her on the map last season. The 6-foot-1 guard became a fan favorite after stepping up for teammate Caitlin Clark—a moment that showed she’s not just about buckets, but backbone too. Since then, she’s been cashing in on that spotlight with brand deals and now a major SI Swim debut.

And for Cunningham, this isn’t just a photoshoot—it’s bigger than that. “This is probably one of the most empowering things that I have done ever,” Cunninghamshe said. “I truly do think, like, go kick a– out on the court. And then go kick a– out in the real world being a woman who is strong, who is powerful and who has a mindset that she can do anything.”

Oh, and she’s not done expanding her game either. Cunningham is set to make her broadcasting debut in 2026 with studio coverage on USA Network during the WNBA season.

On the court, off the court, in front of the camera. Sophie’s running a full-court press on every lane right now.
