Napheesa Collier isn’t holding back on how she feels about the WNBA’s pay structure. The Minnesota Lynx star has become one of the most vocal critics of the league’s leadership amid ongoing discussions for a new CBA.
Earlier this month, Collier dropped a scathing criticism of commissioner Cathy Engelbert over alleged comments that she made about Caitlin Clark and other players during their conversation.
Engelbert had allegedly said that Clark should be grateful to the league for giving her a platform to play and make a living, a statement that drew widespread reactions from basketball fans and players alike.
Now fresh off her Glamour Magazine cover page feature, Napheesa Collier revisited the current WNBA pay structure while criticizing the amount the Indiana Fever star takes home.

Collier said it makes no sense that players like Caitlin Clark can generate hundreds of millions in value for the league yet earn way less than a million dollars a year.
“The amount of money that Caitlin Clark has made the league is insane, and she’s getting 0% of it because we have no revenue share,” Collier said.
“She gets less than $80,000 a year, and she’s bringing in, like, hundreds of millions of dollars. It’s insane,” the Lynx player added.
Her comments come as the WNBPA and the league continue to navigate tense discussions around a new collective bargaining agreement before the Oct. 31 deadline. However, it remains to be seen if a positive solution will be agreed before that date.
