A’ja Wilson buried a shot with less than a minute remaining Wednesday night, lifting the Las Vegas Aces to a 90-88 victory over the Phoenix Mercury in Game 3 of the WNBA Finals.

The clutch basket pushes the Aces to a 3-0 series lead and puts them one win away from their third WNBA title in four years.

Wilson’s dominant performance at PHX Arena quickly drew reactions from fans and analysts across the league.

One of the notable names to react was WNBA icon and University of South Carolina coach Dawn Staley.

After witnessing Wilson’s clutch performance, Staley resorted to using a goat sound to praise the Aces star, posting her reaction on X after the game.

The praise came despite Las Vegas nearly squandering a 17-point lead against Phoenix.

But as Staley observed, the four-time MVP came through when it mattered most. Wilson’s 30 points in Phoenix helped the Aces take a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Wilson is averaging 27.7 points on 52.5 percent shooting, 12.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.7 blocks in this year’s WNBA Finals.
