Las Vegas Aces‘ owner Mark Davis was one of thousands of fans who watched the team win Game 4 of the WNBA Finals against the Phoenix Mercury on Friday.

The Aces clinched their third championship in four seasons under head coach Becky Hammon with a sweeping 97-86 victory to end their campaign without a single loss.

After the matchup, Mark Davis was quick to express his joy as he spoke with reporters.

“Fantastic, what a great job each woman did. Really proud of them,” he said.

Finals MVP A’ja Wilson was a dominant force throughout the series for the Aces. She averaged 28.5 points and 11.8 rebounds while posting 31 points and nine rebounds in Game 4.

Becky Hammon heaps praise on A’ja Wilson after championship win

Hammon was the first WNBA head coach to win a championship back in 2022 as a rookie coach, and her worst season in Las Vegas ended at the semifinal stage last season.

Following their latest success, she was full of nothing but high praise for her superstar A’ja Wilson. After the game, the Aces coach described Wilson to reporters, per ESPN:

“You have your Mount Rushmore, she’s alone on Everest. There’s no one around.”

“The skill set and level these guys [now] are at, to me, it’s not comparable … it’s a natural evolvement. That’s the sign of any great league; it doesn’t stay the same,” she added.

The Las Vegas “Big 3” of Wilson, Chelsea Gray and Jackie Young were a force to contend with throughout the Finals. Needless to say, there are plenty of positives for the franchise and Mark Davis as far as they are concerned.
