Washington Wizards starting point guard Monte Morris is listed as week-to-week after receiving an epidural injection Wednesday to alleviate lower back soreness.
Morris, 27, had missed the past two games.
His return will be “determined by his clinical evolution,” the team said in a release.
Morris averages 10.4 points and a team-leading 5.3 assists per game in 51 starts this season, his first with the Wizards, who acquired him in a four-player trade with Denver in July.
Morris is averaging 10.5 points and 4.0 assists in 331 career games (156 starts) for the Wizards and Denver Nuggets (2017-22), who selected him in the second round of the 2017 draft.
