WATCH: Wendell Smallwood scores TD on spectacular kickoff return

Trailing 14-0, to the Washington Redskins, the Philadelphia Eagles needed a jolt. They got it on a spectacular kickoff return from Wendell Smallwood.

Smallwood’s burst was certainly phenomenal. With that said, the Washington gaps can’t be that open, either. The advantage of those high kicks toward the sidelines is that they allow defenses to get in position. Obviously the Redskins missed the memo.
