WATCH: Zion Williamson goes way up for block off backboard

Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

Early in the second half of Sunday’s Elite Eight game between Duke and Michigan State, Zion Williamson made his defensive presence felt in a big way.

As Kenny Goins went up for what he thought would be an easy layup, Williamson came flying in as a trailer on the play and blocked the shot off the backboard. He got so high on this that he actually had to duck to ensure the ball didn’t hit his head on the way back off the rim.

This wasn’t the first time in the game that Williamson had taken Goins to school, either.

Unfortunately for Duke, Michigan State did get the offensive rebound. But Williamson’s ability to make big plays above the rim continues to amaze.
