WATCH: Yankees troll Orioles after yet another home run

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

The Baltimore Orioles entered Wednesday’s action against the New York Yankees having already made the wrong kind of history. Baltimore has yielded 100 home runs in less than 50 games and are on pace to shatter the all-time mark.

A total of 29 of those had come from the New York Yankees. We can now add three more to the total after the Yankees continued to dominate pitching in Baltimore early Wednesday evening.

One of the homers came from a youngster in Gleyber Torres who had already belted eight against the Orioles this season. Eight in 10 games to be precise.

Following his third-inning jack off Dan Straily, the Yankees’ Twitter account decided to use Baltimore’s home broadcast to call the shot. It’s an amazing amount of trolling from New York.

“I don’t know. Goodbye home run.”

That about sums it all up for the Orioles right now.

Some might call this amateurish from the Yankees. That’s fine. But if the Orioles don’t want to be trolled, they might want to stop giving up so many darn long balls. Just some food for thought.
