Colorado State opened Saturday night’s game against Utah State with a long touchdown-scoring drive, but Savon Scarver answered right back.
On the kickoff return following Jaylen Thomas’ two-yard touchdown run, Scarver romped 108 yards to the house on a play that technically reads as a 100-yard return on the stat sheet.
Talk about an instant impact play. Utah State tied the game up and the offense still hadn’t played a single down in the contest.
