Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa entered 2019 as the co-favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. It’s no wonder why he might win it with playmakers like wide receiver Henry Ruggs scoring jaw-dropping touchdowns.
Tagovailoa unleashed a missile to Ruggs who came over the middle on a slant route. The star Alabama receiver had four defenders around him and simply turned on the jets to leave everyone in the dust for an 81-yard score.
If anyone questioned Ruggs’ 4.25-second 40 time from the offseason, plays like this should silence the doubt. He is one of the fastest players in football at any level and he shows it every week.
