Seattle Seahawks receiver Josh Gordon attempted a pass to D.K. Metcalf on fake reverse against the Carolina Panthers. The trick-play attempt did not go well.

Gordon, under pressure, essentially chucked an arm punt that was picked off by Panthers safety Tre Boston.

The big problem with Gordon’s throw is that it happened on second down from inside Carolina territory. A bit more awareness about what to do in that situation would have gone a long way here.

Though, for Boston, this mistake by Gordon paid off in a big way.

It’s going to be interesting to see if the Seahawks try that play again any time soon.
