While many will now forever call the 2018 NBA Draft the “Luka Doncic draft”, Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young continues to prove why he deserves just as much recognition.

The 21-year-old’s sensational season continued on Wednesday night against the Brooklyn Nets with an absurd 39-point, 10-assists performance. He let it fly from deep with five three-point makes, including this gorgeous sequence in the third quarter.

On a night when Brooklyn could never find an answer for Young, he passed LeBron James’ NBA record of 11 games with 30-plus points and 10-plus assists before he turned 22.

Young came into the game averaging 28.2 points, 8.3 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game this season. Given his unbelievable achievement tonight, we’re likely going to keep seeing monster performances from Young in the weeks and years to come.
