Tom Brady had a chance to really stun the Philadelphia Eagles in the second quarter of Super Bowl LII. He was wide open on a trick play in which Danny Amendola threw the ball after a double-reverse. Amendola threw a pretty darn good ball, but Brady couldn’t haul it in.

Brady’s not used to making tough catches, but this is one he really should have hauled in. It hit his fingertips, and quite honestly he kind of alligator-armed it, too.

The Patriots attempted to convert on fourth-and-5 on the next play, but they were stopped on that play as well, giving Philadlephia the ball back, up 9-3.
