Texas football’s special teams this season have been about as special as cherished dog that comes into the house after having rolled around in the mud for an hour.
During Saturday’s contest against TCU (No. 3), the Longhorns managed to fail once again on a routine special-teams play. The team’s long-snapper launched the ball well over the head of punter Michael Dickson, into and then out of the end zone for a safety.
