Teddy Bridgewater was knocked unconscious by Lamarcus Joyner on a scramble during Sunday’s Minnesota Vikings game against the St. Louis Rams.
It was a scary moment for Vikings fans, and certainly for Bridgewater’s friends and family.
He had converted a first down on the scramble and then slid, which is supposed to protect quarterbacks from taking unnecessary hits. Unfortunately, Rams defensive back Joyner came flying in late and knocked him out cold.
Here is a clip of the scary hit.

Former NFL linebacker Scott Fujita had some words to say about the hit, insinuating Joyner’s hit was dirty.
Really hope Bridgewater is okay. Really hope Vikes win. Then really looking forward to hearing what Zim has to say about that b.s.

We all wish Bridgewater the best. He’s certainly not coming back into the game for the Vikings in Week 10, and it remains to be seen how much the hit will impact him going forward.
