Not surprisingly, the first interception of the year thrown by Patrick Mahomes occurred in Sunday’s game agains the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The second-year star was under pressure, trying to force the ball to Tyreek Hill in the middle of the field when Jaguars safety Tashaun Gipson stepped in front of the ball.

Mahomes and the Chiefs are up early, 10-0, in part due to a stellar first drive that culminated with a rushing touchdown by the league’s leading scorer.
