Buffalo Bills running back Taiwan Jones was injured during Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers when he was hit in the head after his helmet had come off.
The hit occurred as Jones was in the end zone trying to recover the ball following a muffed punt. Jones’ helmet came off, and then he was hit by Uchenna Nwosu.
Wow. Scary moment for Taiwan Jones. The #Bills RB gets hit in the head without his helmet on following muffed punt recovery. The result it quite a bit of bleeding. He gets up and goes to the locker room after. Here's a look at it in slow mo: pic.twitter.com/RCCqEPWivA

Thankfully he was able to walk off under his own power. He went straight into the locker room for further evaluation, and we assume he’s in the NFL’s concussion protocol.
