Bay Area native T.J. Ward has come through in a big way for the Denver Broncos, stopping a potential scoring drive from the Cardinla Panthers with an interception of Cam Newton.

A tip of the hat goes out to Danny Trevathan for jumping on the fumble on Ward’s return.

The turnover gave the Broncos a measure of revenge, as Kony Ealy had previously halted a potential Denver scoring drive with an interception of Peyton Manning.

The interception didn’t amount for much for the Broncos, who were quickly forced to punt the ball back to Carolina.

Despite that, Denver still leads 16-7 in the third quarter, and the longer they can keep this a two possession game, the tougher it will be for the Panthers to come back to win Super Bowl 50.
