The day of your wedding is already a special moment that will be remembered for the rest of your life. In the case of Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier, the day was made even more special by a single dance.
Nearly 18 months after he laid on the field motionless with a significant spinal injury with doctors fearing he may never walk again, Shazier hit the dance floor for a dance with his wife.
It remains unclear if we’ll ever see Shazier put on his pads and play football again. Pittsburgh placed him on the physically unable to perform list following the 2019 NFL Draft, making it very possible he will now miss two consecutive seasons.
What’s more important is he will be able to live a normal life, enjoying the simple moments with his family. While every dance at a wedding is special, seeing Shazier show off his moves on the dance floor feels even more special.
