On Tuesday night, Los Angeles Angels’ two-way player Shohei Ohtani hit his first career MLB home run. He didn’t wait long to hit home run No. 2.
With the Angels trailing the Cleveland Indians 2-0 in the fifth inning, Ohtani stepped into the box against the reigning and two-time Cy Young Award winner, Corey Kluber. Ohtani ripped the ball to straightaway center field and 400 feet later, the game was tied.

Ohtani seems to have overcome a bad spring training.
Angels Stadium isn’t known as a hitter’s park. Far from it, in fact. So, any home run there is certainly impressive. Taking a pitcher of Kluber’s caliber deep and to center field, is even more impressive.
