Watch: San Antonio Spurs PG Tony Parker faces a tiger on French game show

San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker is having some fun on his down time this summer, which, for the French athlete apparently means facing down a tiger.

Appearing on the French game show “Fort Boyard,” Parker was thrust into a smallish courtyard where he drove around in a rusty, bucket of a vehicle that appears to offer scant protection. Fellow contestants dumped water on Parker, who was tasked with using a water gun to fill up a container while being assaulted by the tiger.

Thankfully for Parker, the big cat was more concerned with popping the tires on his rust bucket than attempting to eat the frenchman for lunch.

“Fort Boyard” is one of the most popular game shows in the world. Parker is joined this summer by teammate Boris Diaw, though we’re not sure how the Spurs feel about their players participating in any activity that could potentially be harmful to their health.

On a different note, it’s hard to imagine this kind of game show happening on American soil. That tiger looked pissed, and you have to believe PETA would put an end to activities of this nature here in the USA.
