WATCH: Royals OF Jorge Soler hits ball out of Fenway

Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

Kansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler entered this year having hit a career 38 home runs in parts of five seasons. He’s well on his way to matching that total this season alone.

Soler made sure to make it a clean 30 homers for the 2019 campaign with a towering two-run blast against Boston Red Sox pitcher Andrew Cashner in the fourth inning of Tuesday night’s game.

Not only that, Soler hit the ball completely over the Green Monster in left field and completely out of Fenway Park.

That baseball was absolutely murdered. Someone needs to get the cops on this. A crime was committed.

In all, the ball traveled 412 feet with an exit velocity of 111 mph. Again, it was absolutely smashed.

Hitting the ball out of Fenway used to be a rarity. That’s changed during a 2019 season that will conclude with the most homers hit in MLB history.
