Wednesday marked the first game back from the IL for New York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano. Unfortunately, he might be headed right back.

Cano was removed from the game early. He was very clearly in some discomfort as he attempted to run out a double play.

Cano had been on the injured list with a left quad strain prior to bein activated on Wednesday.

Including Wednesday’s game (in which he was 0-for-2 with an RBI groundout), Cano is hitting .238/.284/.366 with three home runs on the season.
