Following the ceremony celebrating the team’s Super Bowl title on the front lawn of the White House, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski seemed kind of bummed there were no tunes and no alcohol as he addressed a reporter’s questions.
Though, he did suggest that perhaps President Obama was wasted because he told that weird deflate joke.
Maybe the president was getting wasted…from his deflate joke. We’re still wondering as an organization about that, right?”
Gronk wasn’t the only one who wasn’t thrilled about Obama’s deflate joke. Head coach Bill Belicheck actually gave a thumbs-down afterwards.

Perhaps this is the whole reason quarterback Tom Brady decided to skip the ceremony altogether.
