One of the refs during Friday night’s game between North Carolina and Wake Forest pulled off quite the feat of athleticism to save himself from a tumble.
Tar Heels quarterback Sam Howell ran up the middle on a keeper, and in the process of being taken down he caused the ref to stumble. That’s when the ref showed off his agility.
Given the way both teams came out flat, this was almost the play of the game.
Though, after watching Sage Surratt on Wake Forest’s previous drive, we’ll give the nod to that young man at this point in the game.
