Los Angeles Rams punter Johnny Hekker is known for converting fake punts, but on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers he failed miserably.

On 4th-and-1, Hekker and the Rams special teams unit lined up to punt, then shifted formations to a passing play. The Steelers were prepared, however, and Hekker threw an awful pass that was picked off by running back Trey Edmunds.

The Rams have struggled offensively in this one. The only touchdown they have in the game came on defense, and Jared Goff has been a miserable wreck. He was injured just two plays prior to this huge mistake, and the Rams were desperate to get anything going. IT just doesn’t look like it’s their day.
