WATCH: Raiders’ undrafted rookie Chris Warren trucks Jarrad Davis into next week

The Oakland Raiders might have a hidden gem on their roster in undrafted rookie running back Chris Warren, who played his college ball at Texas.

Just check him out here, absolutely leveling Detroit Lions starting linebacker Jarrad Davis with a hit in the hole that would make Beast Mode proud.

Starting quarterback Derek Carr didn’t see this play as it happened, but he did hear it.

I heard a sound,” Carr said after practice, per the San Francisco Chronicle. “Haven’t seen Chris’ run yet, but I heard it was pretty awesome.”

Yeah, it was awesome all right. And Davis probably still has skid marks on his backside after getting trucked into next week.

Warren, who was a mere role player for three years at Texas, appears to be making quite an impression on his new team. We’ll be keeping a close eye on him this preseason as he attempts to crack Oakland’s roster.
