Tied in the fourth quarter against the Green Bay Packers, the New England Patriots went into their bag of tricks, calling on Julian Edelman to pass.
Edelman took a backwards pass from Tom Brady. He initially looked down field, but Green Bay had that covered. Instead, Edelman threw it across the field to James White, who followed a convoy of blockers inside the five.

It’s hardly the first time we’ve seen Edelman pass the ball. He was a quarterback in college It’s apparent that when need be, his passing skills are still there.
Three plays later, White was in the end zone on a one-yard run. That gave the Patriots a 24-17 lead over the Packers in the fourth quarter.
