WATCH: Padres’ Wil Myers loses his cool, gets ejected

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

San Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers was not a fan of the strike zone home plate umpire Ramon DeJesus decided to throw out there Thursday against the Chicago Cubs.

With his team trailing 4-0 in the bottom of the ninth and following a called strike three, Myers absolutely lost his cool. It took him about three seconds to get ejected by DeJesus after having some choice words for the ump.

To be fair, Myers seemed to have a legitimate gripe over what DeJesus deemed to be balls and strikes.

We understand that umpires are human. They are going to make mistakes, but this is absolutely atrocious.

Padres manager Andy Green attempted to get ejected a bit later, but DeJesus decided not to oblige him.

San Diego ended up losing 4-1.
