Minnesota Golden Gophers head football coach P.J. Fleck has his team undefeated heading into Week 10 and a huge game against Penn State.

On Saturday, after Minnesota dismantled Maryland, 52-10, Fleck passionately argued that ESPN’s College GameDay should choose to come to the Twin Cities in Week 11, rather than Tuscaloosa for the LSU vs. Alabama game.

Watch as Fleck lays out his arguments for why College GameDay would be better off coming to Minnesota in two weeks than it would going to Alabama.

It’s a convincing speech, and clearly Fleck put a ton of thought into his remarks. Whether that moves the needle for a massive company like ESPN remains to be seen.

The Golden Gophers will have a week off before hosting Penn State in Week 11, and this game is almost as big for these Big Ten teams as it is for the Tigers and Crimson Tide.
