In a game that saw Isaiah Thomas makes his Denver Nuggets debut, one of the most-surprising stories in the NBA continued to unfold.

Denver found itself tied up at 118-118 against an equally surprising Kings team at home in its final game before the All-Star Break.

That’s when stud center Nikola Jokic sent his team packing for the break with an awe-inspiring win. Driving the lane, Jokic missed his initial attempt before tipping the ball in at the last second.

This finish with three tenths of a second left completed a 20-point, 18-rebounds and 11-assist triple-double for the under-the-radar MVP candidate. It also improved Denver’s record to 39-18 on the season.

All of this drama came after guard Malik Beasley and head coach Michael Malone were ejected in what ended up being an event-filled game at the Pepsi Center.
