The Michigan Wolverines got whooped by Wisconsin last weekend but have a tasty matchup against Rutgers Saturday, and Nico Collins made sure they got off to a fast start.
On just the second play of the game, Collins ran a short out route, received the pass from Shea Patterson, cut upfield and was gone.
That’s 48 yards to the house, and surely Collins is feeling a little bit better than he did after the Wisconsin game, when he seemed to shade Jim Harbaugh.
On a related note, Rutgers really is the best medicine.
