To celebrate the mothers in their lives on Mother’s Day, the NFLPA created a fantastic video, “NFL players: My mom is like Wonder Woman.”
Piecing together some clips from the new “Wonder Woman” movie that will hit theaters nationwide on June 2, the video highlights how the comic-book character embodies the qualities every good mother possesses.
Travis Kelce said Wonder Woman is someone who can “always be there for you.” This was echoed by Melvin Gordon, who said, “at the end of the day, she’s there for you.”
Clay Matthews highlighted a couple of attributes: “strong, courageous.”
Le’Veon Bell said, “She makes it look easy.”
Von Miller said his mother, like Wonder Woman, “consistently is wonderful.”
The video has the potential to make the room pretty dusty, so make sure you have some tissue paper handy beforehand.
