WATCH: New Mexico RB Bryson Carroll drops ball at 1-yard line on long run

If Bryson Carroll had just held onto the ball, he would have had a 57-yard touchdown Friday night against Colorado State. Instead, he dropped the ball before crossing the goal line in what was an embarrassing faux pas he won’t soon forget.

Here’s a look at the play, which thankfully for Carroll did not end in disaster.

The Lobos did score a touchdown when Kentrail Moran pounded the ball into the end zone from one yard out.
