The defending champion LSU Tigers are having a heck of a time with Mississippi State on Saturday. Heading into the game, LSU found itself as a 16-point favorite against Mike Leach’s squad.

It took one stellar defensive play to keep LSU afloat. Unfortunately, that side of the ball was also victimized by star Bulldogs running back Kylin Hill in the third quarter.

With his team down 24-20 in the third quarter, Hill took a short pass from quarterback K.J. Costello and turned it up field for an eye-opening 75-yard touchdown.

That’s the type of play we have seen from Hill during his four seasons in Starkville. The dude is just special. Hill is coming off a 2019 season that saw him put up 1,530 total yards and 11 touchdowns at a clip of 5.9 yards per touch. There’s a reason he’s being bandied about as a potential early-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

As for the defending champion Tigers, they are looking to avoid becoming the second top-six team to lose in stunning upset fashion on Saturday. Plays like this will not help.
