WATCH: Minnesota savagely ends furious Indiana comeback with 67-yard TD

The Minnesota Golden Gophers took a 22-point lead into the fourth quarter. With just under four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, that lead had evaporated following Indiana’s third touchdown in less than 10 minutes.

Needing to stop the bleeding somehow on a night where their spooky uniforms seemed to mock them at the worst possible time, the Gophers found magic.

Tanner Morgan found Rashod Bateman deep down the middle of the field, and within seconds Indiana’s furious comeback had been savagely squashed.

Compounding the sadness for the Hoosiers, they fumbled on the first play of their next offensive possession, sealing their doom to fall for the fourth game in a row.

The Golden Gophers won shortly afterward, 38-31.
