WATCH: Mike Trout drills solo home run in All-Star Game

An inning after New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge went deep in the All-Star Game, Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout jumped in on the action.

In the third inning, Trout faced New York Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom. On the fourth pitch of the at-bat, Trout saw his pitch and blasted the 92-mph fastball over the wall in left field.

The solo shot gave the American League a 2-0 and is the second home run in an All-Star Game by Trout. The race to be MVP of the All-Star Game is on and it should be a close one between Trout and Judge.
