Not only did Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon score the first touchdown of his team’s season, but he did so in style.
He gets style points for the leap, the touchdown, and the sweet dance afterwards. We have to give him an 8/10. A perfect score was possible, if he had only stuck the landing.
The touchdown (and ensuing PAT) evened the Chargers at 7-7 against the Denver Broncos. To this point, it’s been Gordon or nothing for the Chargers, who are struggling to hold back the flood of Broncos defenders early in this game.
