WATCH: Mecole Hardman explodes for longest play of NFL season

Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs are difficult enough to stop with a plethora of game-changing speed on offense. It’s even harder to beat this team when Mecole Hardman takes a kickoff back 104 yards for a touchdown.

Just when the Los Angeles Chargers felt hope, Hardman crushed it. The rookie receiver put his unmatched speed on display, slipping through a hole then outracing everyone on the field on his way to the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown.

It goes down as the longest play in the NFL this season and it’s fitting that it came from Hardman. He is surpassing Kansas City’s wildest expectations since being selected with a second-round pick this offseason. We can’t wait to see what Hardman does in the playoffs with this offense now clicking.
